The Seven Labours of Researcher Rozenn is set in the medieval fantasy world of Iram. You play Rozenn, a demi-goddess who works as a researcher for the god of virus. At the dawn of a very important week for you, you receive a letter explaining that you have been foretold to accomplish seven great deeds before the end of the week. In order to do so, you find yourself stuck in a seven-day time loop, trying to figure out how on Iram you are supposed to save cats from extinction while also winning the research competition.

Time is ticking as you juggle between working on your presentation, getting to know the other researchers, and staying on the divinities' good side. Good thing you are not looking for a date on top of everything! Which competitor will try to murder you if your presentation is better than theirs? Which one will try to get in your pants -eww? Which one will forbid you to help fix the mess their deity made? Which one will make you regret not visiting the gym more often?

Like any old visual novel, The Seven Labours of Researcher Rozenn offers the player dialogue choices that can make or break a story line. You also play through a map to select actions among the (randomly) available options, in order to raise your preferred stats to unlock new story paths. The game is made to be played over many run-throughs, as you discover the requirements for each ending through trial-and-error... or lucky accidents.

For those who share my dark humour, you can also collect the seven Game Over conditions, six of which being plain murders! The world of Iram is a bed of roses, the kind where you get ripped apart by the thorns if you try to free yourself.
